Penumbra Co-Founder, Steve DeWaters, has over 20 years of marketing, sales, technical, business, and operations experience. Today he is a responsible for all facets of Penumbra's sales, marketing and operations. Steve works closely with Jennifer Shirkani, the company's President, to form a powerful, client-driven and highly responsive organization.

Steve delivers his expertise to Penumbra's sales strategy development, competitive intelligence, and organizational analysis, helping to forge a most unique and emerging human performance development firm. In addition, with his unique background in social network analysis, he has a highly specialized window into client organizations, especially in identifying enablers and barriers to organizational results.

Steve earned his B.A. in Honors Anthropology from UC-Irvine and is a member of various academic and professional groups such as The Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and INSNA-International Network for Social Network Analysis.
