With more than 15 years of experience in human
resources management, Judy's work is recognized by FORTUNE 500 companies and
the international community as a proven authority for assisting organizations
find top talent. Her expertise for staffing has extended to scientific,
technical, sales, marketing, finance, medical, legal, and senior executive
positions. Her specialized training and development skills have provided
innovative recruitment approaches for professionals both inside and outside
the corporate environment.
As Manager of Employment for Allergan, a $1.7 billion pharmaceutical
company, Judy played a key role for 10 years in recruiting the most skilled
talent. She developed the programs for training Allergan's management and
interview teams in the Selection Process, including behavior-based Interviewing,
and headed the successful implementation of Allergan's applicant tracking and
hiring system. She also developed the Career Center for Allergan's internal
and external Web sites, which provide a prominent avenue to recruitment as
well as high visibility of Allergan's Employment Brand.
She is a Past President of the Orange County Chapter of the National
Human Resources Association (NHRA), and has served on both the local and
national boards of directors. She is an active volunteer with Working
Wardrobes and was instrumental in the development of the "First Steps to
Career Success" and "Corporate Advocates for Working Wardrobes" programs.
Following her graduation from the University of Colorado, Judy spent
several years in Mexico City teaching English and managing a branch office
of Lanser de México, a competitor of Berlitz Language Schools. She has a
certificate of management from California State University and numerous
certifications in training and human resources programs from various
