Co-founder and President/CEO of the Penumbra Group, Jennifer Shirkani has created a truly unique human performance and development firm. She presides over the design, development, delivery and implementation of dynamic training that improves workplace performance.

With over 15 years of training and organizational development experience, Jennifer provides organizational development consulting for large and hi-growth companies in financial services, high tech, insurance, energy, pharmaceutical, property management, assisted living, manufacturing, wholesaling, service and retail industries. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of Emotional Intelligence at industry and HR conferences.

Prior to forming Penumbra Group, Jennifer worked in key employee development roles across diverse industries. Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton, and a Masters in Organizational Leadership at Chapman University. She is a member of American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) and the Boston affiliate of HRPS, Human Resource Leadership Forum. She is certified in several multirater instruments, including Emotional Intelligence assessment tools.
