A financial services organization struggled with turnover and poor productivity in its Collections call center. They asked Penumbra to take a look at their highest and lowest performers to identify where the greatest gaps were.
Using the EQi assessment from MHS (www.mhs.com), we analyzed dozens of their top and bottom employees to identify the largest five skill gaps between them. They turned out to be: flexibility, impulse control, happiness, reality testing and social responsibility as seen in the graph above.
As a result, the organization is able to now seek strengths in these five specific competencies at the time of interview, in order to better recruit candidates with the skills already proven for success in that job. They were so happy with the results, they have implemented pre-interview EQ testing for all management position candidates throughout their entire organization.
